Ryan Garcia returns to the ring to face Rolly Romero this week as they headline Ring Magazine’s inaugural ‘Fatal Fury’ card.
This is Garcia’s first fight since serving a one-year suspension with the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC).
Garcia was banned from pro boxing after his win over HaneyGettyHe was banned from boxing after testing positive for the selective estrogen receptor modulator (SARM) clomifene in two separate drug tests taken around his April 2024 clash with Devin Haney.
‘King Ry’ won that bout, but the result was overturned to a no-contest, and after his ban, he’s now back to face Romero.
Meanwhile, on the same card, his rival Haney is fighting Jose Ramirez, while Teofimo Lopez is defending his WBO super-lightweight title against Arnold Barboza Jr.

“That’s what he’s looking at. So, in this fight [Romero], is this fight going to be the most money you ever made or close to it? What is the money looking at?”
