Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed on Sunday that Israel had been subject to various pressures from the former US administration not to enter the Gaza Strip.

“The administration of former US President Joe Biden threatened Israel with cutting off its weapons if it entered Gaza,” he explained in a speech.

“I told Biden that the army would enter Gaza, and that Israel is not a vassal state”.

Netanyahu claimed that, “I visited our forces in Rafah, and they told me that they killed 12,000 fighters, but not a single civilian.”

“Misleading media says we target civilians in Gaza, but we don’t target civilian homes before they leave.”
