BGT’s Alesha Dixon appears to pour scorn on co-star Bruno Tonioli as she says she misses old judge line-up ...Middle East

Sport by : (The Sun) -

IT’S taken a few years for Bruno Tonioli to win over Britain’s Got Talent viewers since joining the panel, alongside Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.

But Alesha has now revealed she still misses the ITV show’s old line-up, with David.

She said: “You never know what the chemistry is going to be like. But the four of us together were magic.

“The ten years we did together was special. We were the best judging panel on telly – the Fab Four.”

Speaking on David’s Making A Scene podcast, Alesha also recalled making the leap from judging BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing to BGT.

She said: “I’d already made the decision to leave Strictly. I knew I was only going to do three years.

“I wanted to try something new. I enjoy Britain’s Got Talent so much, which is why I’ve been there for so long.

“It’s a different energy. You can be yourself more.”

Yinka: My Diddy horror

YINKA BOKINNI has admitted it was harrowing investigating P Diddy for her TV documentary which airs tonight.

P Diddy: The Rise and Fall, on BBC Three and iPlayer, unpicks the complex history of the US rapper, real name Sean Combs, who is in jail awaiting trial on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and trans-portation to engage in prostitution after he was held last year.

But looking into the allegations, and speaking to those close to Combs put a toll on the presenter, who turned to BBC therapy for support.

Yinka told me: “I’d be being dishonest if I said it didn’t affect me. I had to get my head around the amount of allegations, and how it would be possible for a person to conduct all of that.”

Harriet is Belle of balls

HARRIET KEMSLEY admits she was star-struck lining up with fellow comics Bob Mortimer and Richard Ayoade on new Prime Video series Last One Laughing, which streamed last month.

But she reveals she is now stopped in the street by fans, just like her idols, thanks to her crazy antics on the show.

Hosted by Jimmy Carr, it challenges ten comedians NOT to laugh while they try to make one another do just that – Harriet by pretending to fire ping-pong balls from her nether region.

She told me at the Bafta nominees party: “It was a room full of my comedy heroes, so much fun. But since the show, people have been yelling ‘ping pong!’ at me wherever I go.”

Harriet does admit, though, that the plus side of the show has been people realising she CAN pull a straight face.

She joked: “No one has ever taken me seriously.”

TARDIS TRAUMA

DOCTOR WHO got just over two million viewers on Saturday night – beaten in the ratings by the funeral of Pope Francis earlier in the day.

But it’s still a step up from the previous week when just 1.6million tuned in for the adventures of the Time Lord on BBC One.

Sad times in the Tardis.

Ruling’s left Ella in fear

ELLA MORGAN was the first transgender person on E4’s Married At First Sight UK – and now is the first to become the face of Superdrug.

But she reveals it is a bitter-sweet time, as she signed up with the high-street chemist before this month’s Supreme Court ruling preventing trans women from being recognised as female.

Ella, who had gender reassignment surgery, told me at the Bafta nominees party: “I’m proud to be the new face of Superdrug. I want to help people understand what it’s like for transgender people.”

But she added: “For the first time, I’ve been scared to get on the train as an open trans woman, use changing rooms or go into the toilet. I’m hoping the Superdrug campaign will promote understanding.”

TOMLINSON TWINS EYE PROJECTS

THE twin sisters of Louis Tomlinson are believed to be working on their own reality TV series and may involve their One Direction brother.

Phoebe and Daisy, who have already bagged modelling jobs and clothing endorsements, say they’re looking at a few “big projects”.

Vicky a true beauty

THE Honesty Box launches tonight on E4 and host Vicky Pattison already fancies doing a celebrity version of the dating show.

Among others, she reckons an interesting contestant would be former Strictly star and Towie lothario Pete Wicks.

The contest sees couples – called Truetopians – talk about their feelings for one another, with money deducted from a £100,000 jackpot every time they tell a porkie.

Vicky said of Pete: “He’d be great – the old habitual bachelor. With his piercing blue eyes, he’d outsmart the Honesty Box – melt it.”

She added: “A celebrity version could be amazing, somewhere like Fiji. Go back to those old-school days of Love Island, the golden age of reality TV, and let’s get some wicked celebs in there.”
