DENVER (KDVR) — Many agencies and pharmacies are participating in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, giving Coloradans plenty of locations where they can drop off unneeded prescription drugs.
The Drug Enforcement Administration leads the event every year on the last Saturday of April and October. With nearly 4,500 collection sites across the nation, the event is an opportunity for people to properly get rid of their unneeded, unwanted or expired prescription medications.
