Top tight end prospect Mason Taylor has been selected with the No. 42 overall pick by the New York Jets.

Taylor is the son of Miami Dolphins Hall of Famer, Jason Taylor.
The Dolphins legend is also the brother of Joy Taylor, the popular Fox Sports host.
She previously revealed how nervous she was about her nephew being in the draft this year.
“I’m excited. I’m excited for him, but I’m nervous,” she said on Jonathan Zaslow’s podcast.
“Because for 15 years, I watched this sport with a severe emotional attachment in my brother.
“And since he’s retired in 2011, so for a while now, I’ve been able to watch it without that.
“And now it’s back. And it’s like a familiar anxiety. When your family plays in something, when your family is a part of something, it’s very different.”
Taylor hasn’t had to root for a family member on NFL Sundays since 2011, but that is going to change now.
“We work in the business so we get a little bit jaded from fandom in covering sports in general,” Taylor said.
“It’s an interesting sensation that is going to be back after tomorrow, depending on where Mason goes.”
The Taylor family might be a little upset with where their newest NFL player ended up.
The Jets are the closest rivals of Jason Taylor’s Dolphins.
However Taylor did play the 2010 season, the second-to-last of his career, with the Jets.
