Wearing Nike on the field will be new for Skattebo. He has worn Adidas uniforms and cleats throughout his entire collegiate career due to Sacramento State and Arizona State both having contracts with the German-based sportswear giant.

However, Skattebo joined “Good Morning Football” before the draft and said he had a problem with Arizona State’s Adidas pants.
“I won’t say any specifics due to branding, but the pants, I didn’t feel comfortable,” Skattebo said of the pants that are part of ASU’s uniform.
“They didn’t fit perfect on my body style. They were super tight. Very knee-constricting when I would run, so I tried to pull them up as high as I can so that was not a factor.”
Skattebo won’t have to worry about that problem any longer as Nike has a deal with the NFL as the exclusive uniform provider through 2038.
