EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is a summary of crime reports taken from the Greeley Police Department’s daily logs. Only a few of the hundreds of reports will be used in this weekly column because of space limitations.

March 31

7:30 a.m.: A caller in the 2100 block of 7th Street Road reported someone took bricks and other supplies from one area of his yard and moved them to another. Nothing had been taken, but the caller was concerned because someone had trespassed on his property.

2:45 p.m.: A caller in the 1900 block of 27th Street reported six dogs had been left unattended at a nearby apartment complex’s dog park for more than two hours.

6:45 p.m.: A caller at the Greeley Mall reported bringing her 14-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter to the mall, and the two were refusing to leave with her to come home.

April 1

12:30 p.m.: A man at the Greeley Police Department reported a lot of things were missing out of his wallet after he was released from the Weld County Jail.

6:15 p.m.: A caller in the 1100 block of 14th Avenue reported hearing a loud boom in her backyard. When she went outside, her glass patio table was shattered.

6:45 p.m.: A caller at an unknown address reported someone was hacking into his phone and leaking his personal information.

8:30 p.m.: A caller in the 2600 block of 18th Avenue was requesting officers deliver her food because everyone else “steals it.” The caller said she crashed into another vehicle when she tried to get her own food earlier and didn’t want to drive again. When officers responded for a wellness check, the woman opened the door and said, “still no food,” before closing the door on officers.

April 2

12:00 a.m.: A caller at an unknown address reported his mom had his keys when she was arrested and he was trying to get them back.

9:45 a.m.: A caller in the 2400 block of 25th Street Road reported hearing a loud beep coming from outside. The caller said it didn’t sound like a fire alarm or car alarm but was unsure of the source.

5:45 p.m.: A caller at 11th Street and 4th Avenue reported her daughter was high near a bus station.

9:45 p.m.: A caller at an unknown address wanted to report a cybercrime against her son-in-law because she believed he hacked into her computer.

April 3

4:45 a.m.: A caller at an Airbnb in the 1000 block of 8th Street reported he was woken up by someone throwing rocks in a dumpster outside.

12:15 p.m.: A caller at a nursing home at an unknown address reported overhearing a nurse calling a patient a bad word.

1:00 p.m.: A caller in the 4500 block of Centerplace Drive reported someone took a motorized shopping cart from a grocery store and was driving it toward a home improvement store nearby.
