BURGER King has introduced a new treat to compete with Wendy’s fan-favorite this summer.
The fast food chain is arguably most known for its Whopper, but has brought some delectable desserts to customers recently.

Starting today, April 24, customers at Burger King’s over 6,600 locations nationwide can get the frozen beverage.
It specifically features an “icy blast of strawberry flavor” ideal as the weather heats up, and customers have the option of topping it with the crunchy and colorful NERDS candy as a bonus.
The strawberry-flavored drink from Burger King comes as it recognizes National Strawberry Month in May.
Customers will have access to the frozen drink throughout the month, and to celebrate, Burger King is offering a free classic Frozen Strawberry beverage with any purchase over $1 every Saturday in May.
The only catch is that the $1 or above purchase must be made through the Burger King app or website.
It will also only be available while supplies last.
This isn’t the first time Burger King has dropped frozen drinks, per QSR.
It previously introduced the Fanta Kickin’ Mango, Cotton Candy Cloud, and Pink Lemonade flavors.
SEASON OF STRAWBERRY
While it isn’t a direct dupe, Burger King’s Frozen Strawberry drink could compete with Wendy’s Strawberry Lemonade.
Sure, Burger King’s version doesn’t have lemonade, and Wendy’s doesn’t have the option of including NERDS candy, but the two will likely go head-to-head as a way for fast food fans to cool off.
Wendy’s confirmed the strawberry edition in its Dave’s Craft Lemonades lineup earlier this month.
The chain said there are “real strawberries picked at peak freshness” included in the process when making the Strawberry Lemonade.
It also “doesn’t use artificial colors, flavors, or high fructose corn syrup” in the beverages.

Wendy’s also made waves with its Frosty change-up.
Starting on April 15, customers have been able to get Frosty Swirls.
Frosty Swirls include a base of the classic Chocolate or Vanilla Frosty along with the addition of special sauces.
Those sauces include a Strawberry Swirl, Caramel Swirl, and Brownie Batter Swirl, currently.
On May 12, Frosty Fusions will also arrive.
Frosty Fusions are created through the addition of sauces and mix-ins that bring “extra flavor” to the signature treat.
Options will include the Pop-Tarts Strawberry Frosty Fusion, Oreo Brownie Frosty Fusion, and Caramel Crunch Frosty Fusion.
Wendy’s customers were also left stunned recently after spotting a “weird” rule on the bathroom wall.
A fan also revealed a menu hack to get a “bigger” meal for $7.
