Osasuna have won their last two games in La Liga to boost their hopes of finishing in the top seven, which would secure a place in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers, and they can maintain their fine end-of-season form by seeing off Sevilla at home.
The hosts’ recent wins over Girona and Real Valladolid, which followed on from back-to-back draws with Athletic Bilbao and Leganes, mean they are just three points off seventh going into the midweek fixtures, so they should approach Thursday’s clash with 15th-placed Sevilla with confidence.
The visitors are six points clear of the relegation zone so still have work to do to secure their La Liga status, but Joaquin Caparros’ side are struggling at the moment and have failed to win any of their last five games, losing four of them.

The home side are 14th but are safe from relegation and have no chance of making the play-offs, so the champions can take advantage of the fact that Alex Revell’s side have little to play for other than aiming for a top-half finish in the games that remain.
Six of City’s last eight league games have ended with Chris Davies’ side winning and both teams scoring and it could be a similar outcome at the Lamex Stadium, especially when you consider Boro have scored in three of their last four games and the reverse fixture at St Andrew’s last month ended 2-1 to City.

Leganes and Girona are both still in relegation danger in La Liga with Thursday’s hosts second-bottom, while Girona are only five points better off in 16th place.
Ahead of the midweek games, the visitors sit three points clear of Alaves, who occupy the final relegation place, so they will be desperate to avoid defeat at Estadio Municipal de Butarque on Thursday.
With the two teams likely to be nervy, it could be a tight clash with a goalless draw in the correct score market appealing at odds of 15/2.
Goals have been a problem for both sides recently, as Leganes have failed to score in their last two outings, while Girona have only managed two goals across their last three matches.
