Nora Anderson (Cindy Busby) decided to stay in Brookfield in last week's episode of When Hope Calls, "Finding Our Way." She took over the day-to-day at the orphanage while Lillian (Morgan Kohan) made her way to London to help care for her very-pregnant sister. As Lillian did not have time to make her an official caretaker of the orphanage, Nora asked Mountie Fletcher (Christopher Russell) to escort her to Clearwater to pick up a new charge. The two seemed to rub each other the wrong way even though Mountie Fletcher rescued Nora from a rattlesnake and pretended to be fine after he was bitten by the reptile. Nora and Mountie Fletcher headed back to Brookfield with a new orphan, Jenny (Lyla Elliott).
Fun Fact: Fisher recently starred in Karen Kingsbury's Someone Like You on Great American Family.
Trevor Donovan guest-starred as Constable Jim Reynolds in the episode.
What happens in this week's episode of When Hope Calls?
In "The Truth Shall Set You Free," the Lawrence Ranch goes up for auction, but who will have the winning bid? Tess and several local landowners or an outside buyer? Nora helps Jenny to acclimate to her new surroundings and discovers more about the new charge. Sam, who is also interested in potentially purchasing the Lawrence Ranch, tries out being a farmhand. Maggie's (Hanneke Talbot) baking causes a dilemma for all who try her cooking, especially for Sam. Someone from Tess' past arrives.
