Shaun Murphy is still none the wiser regarding what prompted Kyren Wilson to label him ‘unprofessional’.
The supposed incident took place before the evening session of the Masters final in January, where Murphy overcame Wilson 10-7.
Murphy is scratching his head over what angered WilsonGettySpeaking on the eve of this year’s World Snooker Championship, Wilson insisted his rival knew ‘full well what happened’ and felt it was ‘uncalled for’.
However, Wilson never explicitly revealed exactly what it was that Murphy did or said.
Upon learning of Wilson’s swipe, an ‘extremely disappointed’ Murphy put his rival on blast.
In the following days, Murphy claimed he’d heard a few whispers about what it was that he allegedly did.
Yet the 42-year-old still could not wrap his head around how and why the war of words erupted.
“It’s still a baffling situation,” Murphy said.
“[Kyren Wilson] still hasn’t told me what it is I’ve done to upset him.
“I have heard a few rumours through some other people on what it might be, but I’m still yet to hear it from the horse’s mouth.
“Hopefully we’ll get a chance to meet and shake hands.”
The proposed handshake won’t come after a match between the pair at this year’s World Snooker Championship as Wilson was bundled out in the first round.

Wilson’s loss also ensured the infamous Crucible curse remained intact as he became the 20th first-time world champion winner who failed to retain their title.
Murphy had no such trouble in his first round clash as he breezed past Wales’ Daniel Wells 10-4.
With Wilson out and Murphy still in the field, it could leave the former in an unfortunate spot given he is meant to be on the BBC’s coverage.
After the defeat, Wilson conceded he was desperate for some ‘quality family time’ after a hectic snooker schedule as opposed to remaining in and around the confines of the Crucible.
“I cannot think of anything worse than snooker right now,” Wilson said.
GettyThe 33-year-old would rather be anywhere than the Crucible after his shock loss[/caption]“I’m not sure what I will do. It has been an incredibly long season. I have really missed my family this year, it has been really tough at times.
“I love this sport, I love the game. I have tried to be the best ambassador possible. But now it’s trying to fit in a bit of quality family time.
“I’m meant to be working for the BBC! I don’t know. I don’t really want to be there.
“This is extremely tough to take. It really hurts. I’ve such a strong record at the Crucible. I’m tough to beat here.
“I’m sure the Curse will be broken at some point. Unfortunately I won’t be that person.
“I certainly had the Snooker Gods against me. Maybe I have to put that mirror I smashed back together.”
