While the 2025 college football season is still months away, there’s been a pretty big shift in Heisman Trophy betting odds this week.
With Nico Iamaleava transferring from Tennessee to UCLA, his Heisman odds have dipped considerably to +8000 according to the latest odds from FanDuel. That certainly qualifies the former Vol as a long-shot — he’s currently behind players like Gio Lopez, Haynes King and Avery Johnson. Before landing at UCLA, Iamaleava was +2000 to win the Heisman at FanDuel.
As for new Tennessee quarterback Joey Aguilar, his Heisman odds have risen since the swap. Aguilar is up to +4500 to win the award, per FanDuel. While far from one of the favorites, Aguilar’s odds are currently better than players like Auburn quarterback Jackson Arnold and Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola — both former 5-star prospects.

Texas quarterback Arch Manning and LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier are currently co-favorites to win the 2025 Heisman Trophy at FanDuel, with both quarterbacks priced at +800. Here’s a full look at the current top-10 players atop the odds board:
