The World Snooker Championship 2025 begins at the Crucible today with defending champion Kyren Wilson first on the agenda as he aims to retain his crown.
A total of 32 players enter the main draw at the first round, with 16 qualifiers and the top-16 seeds lying in wait for them.
Wilson won his first world title in 2024 and will be determined to make the most of an unpredictable season with numerous different tournament winners throughout the campaign.
