Wheat Ridge police are seeking information about the identity of a man whose remains were found in a tent north of Clear Creek last year, the agency said Thursday.
A man was exploring a wooded area in northwest Wheat Ridge in December when he came across the abandoned camp, the police department said in a post on X.
The human remains he discovered likely belong to a man who was between 45 and 75 years old and died between 2021 and 2023, according to an analysis from the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
