The Patrick Peterson reunion tour continues on.
The recently retired Arizona Cardinals cornerback is set to announce the team’s Day 2 picks in the 2025 NFL Draft next week.
Arizona currently holds the No. 47 overall pick in the second round and the No. 78 overall pick in the third.
The news of Peterson announcing a pair of the Cardinals’ draft picks comes after he announced his retirement with the franchise on Monday.
Peterson spent 10 years with the franchise after entering the league as the No. 5 overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.

During that span, he recorded 499 tackles, 28 interceptions, 91 passes defensed, 4.0 sacks, two forced fumbles and four QB hits across 154 starts. As a rookie, he returned four punts for touchdowns.
For his efforts as a Cardinal, Peterson earned First-Team All-Pro nods in 2011, 2013 and 2015 and was an eight-time Pro Bowler.
Now officially retired a Cardinal, Peterson is looking for more ways to get involved with the franchise moving forward.
The draft marks an early avenue for the cornerback.
“You guys will hopefully see more of me. I would love to be here to help out the organization, be here to come to games, whatever it may be,” Peterson said Monday. “I’m all in now. I’m a part of the family now. I’m an Arizona Cardinal for life.
“That’s why I wanted to be here and be in front of you guys and retire as a Cardinal to show you guys that this is home.”
