Dayspring Christian 11, Byers 1, 5 inn., in Greeley: Dayspring Christian kept rolling, winning its eighth consecutive game and improving to 9-1 overall. The Eagles wasted no time assuming control, taking a 3-1 lead through one inning and an 8-1 lead through two. Senior Gage Davis, junior Jackson Polk and sophomore Gavin Bohl each had two RBI for Dayspring. Sophomore Owen Steward allowed one earned run on four hits, striking out seven and walking one in four innings.

Briggsdale wins one, ties one, in Weldona: Briggsdale defeated Weldon Valley 8-4 in Game 1 of a league doubleheader before tying Weldon Valley 7-7 in Game 2. Junior Scot Francis went 2 for 3 with three runs and a solo home run in Game 1. The Falcons moved their record to 2-3-1 overall, 1-1-1 in Class 1A District 5 play.

Girls golf

Northridge, Severance claim top spots, in Loveland: Northridge shot a 38-over-par three-golfer score of 254 to place first out of seven teams in a Longs Peak League match, hosted by Mountain View at the Olde Course. Severance was second (276), while Roosevelt placed sixth (322).

Northridge claimed the top 4 spots on the individual leaderboard with junior Grace Gerbers (82) topping the leaderboard, followed by junior Jade Hepler (85), senior Leila Thompson (87) and senior Emmarie Miles (89).

Severance seniors Sophie Morgan and Katelyn Johnson tied for fourth (89). Senior Reagan Mendoza (98, 11th) and sophomore Jaycee Runner (103, 17th) also represented the Silver Knights.

Senior Bailey Haines (99, 13th) suited up for Roosevelt (99, 13th), as did senior Grace Sterkel (116, 23rd), senior Alexis Kilner (111, 21st) and junior Ashleigh Sassano (112, 22nd).

Girls soccer

Arvada 5, Fort Lupton 0, in Fort Lupton: Fort Lupton was shut out for a third consecutive match, extending its losing streak to six matches and falling to 1-8 overall, 1-5 in 3A/2A Frontier League play.

Girls tennis

Resurrection Christian places second, in Timnath and Fort Collins: Resurrection Christian scored 12 points to place second in the Timnath Invitational at Timnath High School and Edora Park. Host Timnath scored 14 points to place first in the seven-team standings.

Eaton finishes fifth, in Westminster: Eaton scored 37 points to finish fifth out of eight teams in the Holy Family Invitational. Legacy was first with 17 points. Among the highlights, the Reds’ senior duo of Evie Gavette and Lily Kennedy won their bracket at No. 2 doubles.

Track and field

Greeley Central hosts Twilight, in Greeley: Greeley Central played host to 25 other programs — many of them local — during the Greeley Twilight Invitational at District 6 Stadium. Among the local first-place finishes, Windsor freshman Aiden Mercil won the boys 1,600-meter run (4:42.78) ahead of Greeley Central’s senior runner-up, Nico Sanchez (4:45.01).

Dayspring Christian junior Elijah Martin won the boys 300 hurdles (40.92). Frontier Academy won the boys 400 relay (44.37) and the boys 3,200 relay (8:51.15). The Grizzlies won the boys 800 relay (1:32.08). Frontier Academy senior Amir McDonald won the boys high jump with a height of 6 feet, 2 inches.

Eaton senior Brody Niswender won the boys long jump (21′ 2.5″). His senior Reds teammate, Ryan Martinez, won the boys triple jump (40′ 0.5″). University’s senior standout Nicholas Rothe won the boys pole vault (14′ 3″). Eaton sophomore Cooper Wiedeman won the boys javelin (123′ 6″).

Windsor sophomore Alyssa Kintz won the girls 1,600 (5:42.63). Dayspring Christian won the girls 3,200 relay (11:09.03). Eaton senior McKenzie Powell won girls long jump (16′ 7″). University senior Cadence Schedlbauer won girls pole vault (10′ 2″). Weld Central senior Megan Hopp won girls javelin (78′ 8″), one spot ahead of her freshman teammate, Tegan Huwa (75′ 4″).

Boys volleyball

Severance 3, Stargate School 1, in Severance: Severance secured its seventh consecutive win and moved its record to 11-6 overall and a perfect 8-0 in 4A Northern Conference play. The Silver Knights trailed early but ultimately won 17-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-23.

Valor Christian 3, Greeley Central 0, in Greeley: Greeley Central suffered a ninth consecutive loss, falling 25-15, 25-23, 25-20. The Wildcats dropped to 2-12 overall. Senior Jackson Gollhofer had five kills and five digs for Greeley Central.

Eagle Ridge Academy 3, Windsor Charter 2, in Brighton: Windsor Charter narrowly dropped this league nail-biter, 25-16, 18-25, 25-22, 21-25, 15-7. Despite the loss, Firebirds junior Brady Johnson had 10 kills, four blocks and an ace. Fellow junior Titus Knutson had 32 digs. Windsor Charter fell to 4-7 overall, 1-6 in 4A Northern Conference play.

Baseball

Severance 9, Roosevelt 6, in Johnstown: Severance jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the top of the fourth and held Roosevelt at bay the rest of the way. The Silver Knights out-hit the Rough Riders 17-7. Kolton Beidleman led Severance, hitting 3 for 4 with four RBI and two doubles. Auggie Dominguez went 4 for 5 with two RBI, four runs, a double and two triples for the Silver Knights. Junior Kayden Bryant led Roosevelt, hitting 3 for 4 with two RBI, a run and a triple. Severance improved to 9-5 overall, 5-2 in 4A/3A Longs Peak play. The Rough Riders fell to 8-2, 6-1.

Windsor 7, George Washington 6, 9 inn., in Windsor: Windsor went into extra innings to extend its win streak to four games, improving to 10-3 overall, 3-1 in 5A/4A Northern Conference play. The Wizards trailed early, 5-0, before scoring three runs in the bottom of the third and three more in the fourth. George Washington tied the game at 6 with a run in the top of the sixth before Windsor scored the walk-off run in the bottom of the ninth. Senior Ethan Fillinger led the Wizards, hitting 1 for 3 with three RBI and a double. Fellow senior Eastin Hubbard went 1 for 3 with two RBI and a home run. Fillinger pitched 4 1/3 innings, allowing one unearned run on two hits, striking out seven and walking two.

Highland sweeps doubleheader, in Ault: Highland controlled both games of a doubleheader against Holyoke, winning 15-0 in four innings and 21-2 in four innings. The Huskies out-hit the Dragons 11-1 in the first game and had no errors, compared to five for Holyoke. Highland already led 3-0 before scoring 11 more runs in the bottom of the third. Senior Donovan Juarez had three RBI and two runs on 2-for-3 hitting. Senior John Bingley pitched all four shutout innings, allowing one hit while striking out 10 and walking two. The Huskies jumped out to a 16-2 lead through two innings in Game 2. Sawyer Morgan hit 3 for 3 with four RBI, three runs, a triple and a home run. Freshman Lucas Kopetzky pitched all four innings, allowing two unearned runs on four hits, striking out 10 and walking one. Highland improved to 7-4-1 overall, 2-1 in 2A Lower Platte League play.

Wellington 12, Greeley Central 7, in Greeley: Greeley Central suffered its seventh consecutive loss, falling to 1-11 overall, 0-7 in 4A/3A Longs Peak play. The Wildcats led early, 3-0 through two innings and 7-4 through four. Wellington scored the game’s final nine runs, including five in the top of the seventh. Senior Anthony Partida, senior Luis Perez and freshman Angel Lopez-Meza each had a RBI for Greeley Central. Perez and sophomore Lupe Loma-Arteaga each had two hits.

Yuma 10, Platte Valley 3, in Yuma: Platte Valley suffered a rare loss while stepping outside of league play, falling to 9-4 overall.  The Broncos led 3-0 after one inning before surrendering the final 10 runs of the game, despite each team connecting on four hits and committing two errors. Freshman Cooper Moffatt had two RBI and a double on 2-for-3 hitting for Platte Valley.

Thompson Valley 18, Northridge 6, 5 inn., in Greeley: Northridge struggled to slow Thompson Valley’s offense, as the Grizzlies fell to 0-12 overall, 0-7 in 4A/3A Longs Peak play. The Eagles out-hit Northridge 16-3. Junior Wyatt Hill went 1 for 3 with two RBI and a double for the Grizzlies.

Frederick 22, Fort Lupton 2, 3 inn., in Frederick: Fort Lupton had no answer for Frederick’s high-scoring offense in this nonleague affair. The Golden Eagles led 10-0 after one inning and 22-0 after two. Seniors Javier Ortiz and Jesse Ceretto had the Bluedevils’ only two hits and drove in their only two runs. Fort Lupton fell to 5-7 overall.

Girls soccer

Windsor 1, Thompson Valley 0, in Loveland: Windsor narrowly prevailed in this defensive-minded affair to improve to 7-3 overall. Standout sophomore Tatum Gentry provided the winning goal in the second half. Junior Braely Martinez assisted on the goal.

Frontier Academy 3, Summit 1, in Greeley: Frontier Academy remained red hot, winning its sixth consecutive match and improving to 6-2 overall. The Wolverines led 2-0 at halftime and held off Summit in the second half. Junior Emily Gesick led the way with two goals and an assist. Senior Lexi Jamsay added a goal.

Mead 12, Northridge 2, in Greeley: Northridge was unable to extend its win streak to three matches, as it faced a strong Mead squad. The Grizzlies were in a big hole from the get-go, falling behind 8-2 in the first half. Northridge dropped to 4-4-2 overall with the nonleague loss.

Boys swimming and diving

Windsor competes, in Thornton: Windsor received a midseason measuring stick, as it was one of 19 programs that competed in the Mustang Invitational at the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center. The Wizards scored 137 points to place 11th. Fairview placed first with 467 points. Lucas Penn led Windsor, finishing sixth in the 200-yard individual medley (2:09.11) and 13th in the 100 backstroke (1:00.32).

Girls tennis

Windsor places fourth, in Denver: Windsor competed in the talent-laden Kent Denver Invitational, scoring 11 points and place fourth in the four-team standings. The host Sun Devils were first with 24 points, narrowly beating out runner-up Cheyenne Mountain (23).

Track and field

Valley hosts Valhalla, in Gilcrest: Valley welcomed 14 other programs onto its home track for its annual Valhalla Classic. Dayspring Christian senior Mckenna Rennie had one of many first-place finishes by local athletes. She won the girls 1,600-meter run in 6 minutes, 20.43 seconds, topping Platte Valley’s senior runner-up Mia Koffler (6:31.74). Koffler’s Broncos teammate, senior Lauryn Uyemura, was first in the girls 100 (17.56).

Dayspring freshman Gracie Gilmore was first in the girls 300 hurdles (50.28). Valley’s team of freshman Addison Dudley, senior Brianna Orona Aguilar, senior Christina Maestas and senior Kendyll Mayhugh won the girls 400 relay (52.95).

Platte Valley’s squad of senior Carly Cichowski, senior Hayden Hanes, Uyemura and freshman Kristy Guzman won the girls 800 relay (1:52.08). Hanes, Koffler, Uyemura and sophomore Kyra Jessop won the girls 1,600 relay (4:32.75).

Valley’s Orona Aguilar won the girls high jump (4′ 11″). University senior Cadence Schedlbauer won girls pole vault (11′ 3″). Valley senior Navaeh Jimenez won girls shot put (32′ 9.5″). Her senior Vikings teammate, Brian Lykens, won the boys 100 (11.49).

Dayspring Christian junior Cooper Osmus won the boys 1,600 in 4:55.80. Dayspring sophomore Ryan Eklund won the boys 110 hurdles (17.96). His junior Eagles teammate, Elijah Martin, won the boys 300 hurdles (42.98). The Dayspring quartet of sophomore Jadon Olaniyi, Martin, junior Easton Silva and freshman Hawkins Flanagan won the boys 400 relay (45.69).

Martin, Olaniyi, sophomore Max Krehbiel and Flanagan won the boys 800 relay (1:36.02). Valley sophomore Steven Stambaugh Jr. won boys discus (127′ 7″). Highland sophomore Trey Talbot won the mixed 100 unified (16.89) and the mixed 200 unified (35.75).

Numerous teams compete, in Lakewood: Numerous local squads tested themselves among the field of 59 during the talent-laden Pomona Invitational, which featured teams from within the state and out of state at Jefferson County Stadium. Windsor’s girls had a strong third-place showing (61 points), while its boys tied for 33rd (6).

Resurrection Christian’s boys tied for 23rd (12), while its girls tied for 26th (9). Roosevelt tied for 23rd (12) in the boys standings and were 11th (25) in the girls standings. Severance’s boys tied for 28th (9), and its girls tied for 35th (4). Weld Central’s girls were 21st (14).

Grandview won the boys team title with 56 points. Fossil Ridge won the girls team title with 117.3 points.

Among the local highlights, Windsor junior Kiana Cumings won the girls 400 (55.27) and the 200 (24.38). Her junior teammate, Maya Brasch, was third in the 200 (24.84) and fifth in the girls 100 (12.37). The Wizards’ girls 800 relay team placed second (1:41.53) behind Fossil Ridge (1:40.85). Windsor was fourth in the girls 400 relay (49.37).

Roosevelt senior Taegan Olson won girls pole vault with a height of 11 feet, 10 inches. Resurrection Christian freshman Lincoln Fagerlin was second (1:55.39) in the boys 800 behind Golden senior Cameron Shull (1:55.21). Cougars senior Addison Barker was third (11′ 4″) in girls pole vault. Severance senior Grayson Smith was second (13′ 4″) in boys pole vault behind Cherry Creek senior Grayson Pence (14′ 6″).

Weld Central senior Megan Hopp was second (117′ 4″) in girls discus behind Riverdale Ridge senior Addison Bartlett (127′ 6″). Her sophomore teammate, Sophie McNitt, was fourth (5′ 3″) in girls high jump, while Windsor senior Reyleigh Hess was fifth (5′ 1″) in the same event. Wizards junior Brenton Clark was fourth (21′ 10″) in boys long jump. Windsor junior Kylie Becker was fourth (106′ 3″) in girls discus.

Greeley West partakes, in Littleton: Greeley West’s girls placed sixth (46), and its boys were 10th (24), out of 17 teams in the Lions Classic Invitational, hosted by Littleton High School at Littleton Public Schools Stadium. Spartans junior Valeria Calzada was second in girls discus (114′ 11″) behind Rocky Mountain junior Kaia Bennett (118′ 2″). She was also fifth in girls shot put (34′ 6.5″). West sophomore Isabella Allen placed third in the girls 100 (12.92) and third in the 200 (26.83). The Spartans’ girls 400 relay team also recorded a third-place finish (52.93). West senior Guadalupe Segura was fifth in boys shot put (41′ 10.75″).

University competes, in Fountain: University was one of nine schools that competed in the Fountain-Fort Carson Invitational. Bulldogs senior Bertram Harvey won the boys triple jump with a height of 41′ 3.5″. University won the boys 400 relay (44.32). Bulldogs senior Uriel Aguilar Gutierrez was second in the boys 300 (41.99) and third in 110 hurdles (17.21). University senior Freddy Cano was second in boys shot put (44′ 7.25″).

Bulldogs freshman Kennedy Sharp was second in the girls 100 (13.60) and third in the 200 (29.01). University sophomore Emily Cook was second in the girls 800 (2:35.20). Her senior teammate, Ava Dominguez, was second in the girls 300 hurdles (48.98). Bulldogs junior Jordan Halley was second in girls long jump (15′ 10.5″) and triple jump (35′ 4″). University junior Carly Thorpe was second (32′ 10.75″) in girls shot put and third in discus (93′ 9″).

Boys volleyball

Greeley Central 3, James Irwin 0, in Greeley: Greeley Central snapped a nine-match losing streak with this decisive nonconference win. The Wildcats improved to 3-12 overall.

Baseball

Windsor 16, Greeley West 0, 4 inn., in Greeley: Windsor stayed sharp, winning its fifth consecutive game and improving to 11-3 overall, 4-1 in 5A/4A Northern Conference play. The Wizards immediately assumed complete control, going up 11-0 in the first inning. They out-hit Greeley West 11-0. Senior Ethan Fillinger led the way, hitting 2 for 3 with three RBI and two runs. He was one of four Windsor batters with multiple RBI. Junior Drew Miller pitched all four no-hit innings for the Wizards, striking out three and walking two. The Spartans fell to 4-11 overall, 0-7 in 5A/4A Northern Conference play.

Resurrection Christian 8, Platte Valley 0, in Loveland: Resurrection Christian continued to rack up impressive wins, claiming its fourth consecutive victory and improving to 7-4 overall, 3-1 in 4A/3A/2A Patriot League play. The Cougars turned a 2-0 lead into an 8-0 advantage with six runs in the bottom of the fourth. They out-hit Platte Valley 10-3. Sophomore Colton Barber led the way, hitting 2 for 4 with three RBI. Resurrection Christian’s senior pitching duo of Charley Wilson and Vaughn Green combined to allow no runs on three hits, striking out 13 and walking two. Freshman Mason Hunt had two of Platte Valley’s three hits. The Cougars improved to 7-4 overall, 3-1 in 4A/3A/2A Patriot League play. The Broncos fell to 9-5, 2-1.

Roosevelt 8, Severance 5, in Severance: Roosevelt avenged a conference loss to Severance from two days earlier, splitting a two-game series. The Rough Riders gained the momentum early, leading 3-2 after one inning and 6-2 after two. The Silver Knights cut the gap to 6-5 with three runs in the bottom of the third, but Roosevelt didn’t let Severance climb any closer. Junior Brady Mylander led the Rough Riders, hitting 4 for 5 with a run and a double. Six Roosevelt batters had one RBI apiece. Junior Domanick Estrella-Torres and Declan Moylett each had two RBI and a double for the Silver Knights. Mylander pitched 5 2/3 innings for the Rough Riders, allowing five earned runs on seven hits, striking out 11 and walking three. Roosevelt improved to 9-2 overall, 7-1 in 4A/3A Longs Peak play. Severance fell to 9-6, 5-3.

University 12, Fort Morgan 2, 5 inn., in Fort Morgan: University ended the game via mercy rule with 10 runs in the top of the fifth after leading just 2-0 through four innings. The Bulldogs out-hit Fort Morgan 10-3. Senior Medardo Abrego led the way, hitting 2 for 3 with four RBI, two runs, a home run and a double. Fellow senior Preston Natividad went 2 for 4 with three RBI and two runs. Senior Will Korby was effective on the mound, allowing one earned run on three hits, striking out seven and walking three. University improved to 10-3 overall, 2-1 in 4A/3A/2A Patriot League play.

Fort Lupton 12, Englewood 6, in Englewood: Fort Lupton scored in all but one inning to comfortably secure this conference game. The Bluedevils out-hit Englewood 14-5. Senior Jesse Ceretto led Fort Lupton, hitting 3 for 4 with four RBI, two runs, a double and a home run. Fellow senior Javier Ortiz went 2 for 4 with three RBI, a triple and a run. The Bluedevils improved to 6-7 overall, 4-1 in 3A/2A Frontier League play.

Prairie wins two, in Holyoke: Prairie had its bats working in a nonleague doubleheader against Holyoke, winning 10-0 and 19-9. Each game lasted just five innings. The Mustangs out-hit the Dragons 13-0 in Game 1 of the twin bill. Sophomore Riar Holloway and junior Brennon Bringelson had two RBI apiece. Bringelson pitched all five no-hit innings, striking out five. He was just a Prairie error from a perfect game. Bringelson went 3 for 4 with four RBI, three runs and a triple in Game 2. Sophomore Oliver Kilmer added three RBI, two runs and a double on 2-for-3 hitting. The Mustangs improved to 8-4.

Briggsdale 19, Front Range Baptist 14, in Fort Collins: Briggsdale out-slugged Front Range Baptist in this nonleague affair, improving to 3-3-1 overall. Briggsdale led 6-0 through the first inning and 14-2 midway through the third before surviving a late-game charge by Front Range Baptist. Sophomore Ryott Simmonds led Briggsdale, hitting 2 for 4 with four RBI and a run. Fellow sophomore Jeremiah Sparks went 3 for 4 with three RBI, three runs and two doubles.

Valley splits pair, in Fort Collins: Valley dominated the first half of a doubleheader, a league game, against Liberty Common, winning 13-0 in five innings. The Vikings weren’t able to sweep the twin ball, dropping a nonleague second game, 7-0. Junior Trent Mestas hit 2 for 3 with three RBI, a double and a run in the Game 1 win. Senior Anthony Soliz pitched all five shutout innings, allowing four hits, striking out seven and walking none. Liberty Common out-hit Valley 12-3 in Game 2. The Vikings moved to 7-7 overall, 1-3 in 4A/3A/2A Patriot League play.

Forge Christian 6, Dayspring Christian 2, in Arvada: Dayspring Christian saw its eight-game win streak come to an end with this nonleague loss, dropping to 9-2 overall. The Eagles led early, 1-0 through 3 1/2 innings before Forge Christian scored a run in the bottom of the third, three in the fourth and two more in the fifth. Sophomore Gavin Bohl recorded Dayspring’s only RBI, hitting 1 for 4.

Wellington 10, Greeley Central 0, 6 inn., in Wellington: Greeley Central lost the second game of a two-game series against Wellington, dropping its eighth consecutive game and falling to 1-12 overall, 0-8 in 4A/3A Longs Peak play. The Eagles out-hit the Wildcats 11-1.

Thompson Valley 10, Northridge 0, 5 inn., in Loveland: Northridge surrendered the second game of a lopsided two-game series against this conference foe, falling to 0-13 overall, 0-8 in 4A/3A Longs Peak play. Thompson Valley out-hit the Grizzlies 7-0.

Strasburg 4, Weld Central 3, 8 inn., in Strasburg: Weld Central fell just inches short in this league affair. The Rebels led 3-2 through 5 1/2 innings before Strasburg scored the tying run in the bottom of the sixth and the winning run in the bottom of the eighth. Freshman Andruw Prince and junior Lucas Johann each had a RBI for Weld Central. The Rebels fell to 6-7 overall, 0-2 in 4A/3A/2A Patriot League play.

Girls golf

Northridge places first, in Loveland: Northridge recorded another fine outing, shooting a three-golfer, 41-over-par score of 257 and placing first out of six teams during a Longs Peak League match, hosted by Berthoud at the Olde Course. Junior Jade Hepler led the Grizzlies, carding an 11-over-par 83 to place second, individually, behind Timnath sophomore Cheyanne Schrick (78). Seniors Emmarie Miles (86, 3rd) and Leila Thompson (88, 4th) also scored for Northridge. Grizzlies junior Madison Nation placed seventh (97), individually.

Roosevelt (355) placed sixth in the team standings, aided by senior Bailey Haines (107, 13th), senior Grace Sterkel (117, 18th) and freshman Hailey Thompson (131, 25th).

Resurrection Christian places third, in Colorado Springs: Resurrection Christian shot a three-golfer score of 259 (46 over par) to finish third out of 25 teams during the Cougar Classic Invitational at Kissing Camels at the Garden of the Gods Club. Lutheran was first, shooting a 238.

Junior Avery Stockslager (83, 6th) represented Resurrection Christian, as did senior Brooke May (85, 9th), junior Karina Garcia (91, 19th) and sophomore Brooklyn Diepersloot (116, 64th). Lutheran junior Tess Morris placed first, individually, shooting a 1-over-par 72.

Severance competes, in Westminster: Severance’s No. 2 team was 21 over par, placing 28th out of 45 teams — while its No. 1 team was 36th (30 over par) — during the Willie DiLoreto Invitational, hosted by Mountain Range at the Ranch Country Club. Riverdale Ridge was first, finishing 8 under par within the team scramble format.

Windsor 15, Jefferson Academy 3, in Windsor: Windsor decisively secured its first conference win, improving to 5-5 overall, 1-2 in 4A Northern Conference play. The Wizards wasted no time building its lead, going up 7-1 after one quarter and 13-1 after two. Senior Hayden Williamson led the charge, accumulating eight goals and four assists.

Resurrection Christian 13, Holy Family 6, in Broomfield: Resurrection Christian kept rolling, winning its fourth consecutive match and improving to 7-2 overall, 3-0 in 4A Northern Conference play. The Cougars were tied at 5 at halftime before outscoring Holy Family 2-0 in the third quarter and 6-1 in the fourth.

Girls tennis

Thornton 6, Fort Lupton 1, in Fort Lupton: Fort Lupton earned its sole win at No. 2 singles, as sophomore Samantha Naukam defeated senior Savannah Lopez 6-3, 6-1. The Bluedevils fell to 3-6-1 overall.

Prospect Ridge 7, University 0, in Broomfield: University lost all seven matches in straight sets, falling to 2-1 overall.

Boys volleyball

Windsor Charter 3, Arrupe Jesuit 1, in Denver: After a 1-1 tie in this match through two sets, Windsor Charter secured the win by winning the last two sets. The Firebirds prevailed 25-14, 21-25, 26-24, 25-15. Junior Brady Johnson led the way with nine kills, two blocks and seven digs. Sophomore Emmitt Richardson added six aces and seven kills. Windsor Charter improved to 5-7 overall, 2-6 in 4A Northern Conference play.
