RUSSELL WILSON is already showing his commitment to the New York Giants after his move to the franchise last month.
Wilson, 36, agreed at one-year $10.5m deal with the Giants after leaving the Pittsburgh Steelers at the end of the 2024 season.

Wilson shared photos of him working out ahead of schedule to try and get himself ready for action.
But it wasn’t just him taking part in the sessions.
The former Seattle Seahawks quarterback had enlisted the help of his new teammates, working with wide receivers Darius Slayton and Wan’Dale Robinson and tight end Theo Johnson.
Wilson had already hinted that he wanted to get his new teammates together to start building relationships in a press conference after agreeing his deal with the Giants.
He said: “A lot of us want to get throwing already. I’ve already talked to Malik [Nabers] a little bit about that and Theo and some of the receivers, Darius, Wan’Dale, [Running back Tyrone] Tracey.
“Just a lot guys want to get together and start working.
“I’m excited about doing that right away and start spinning the football around with those guys.”
NFL important dates 2025 season
March 12 - Free Agency begins
April 24-26 – NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin
September 4 – 2025 season opener (TBC vs Eagles)
November 27 – Thanksgiving Day triple header
January 4, 2026 – End of regular-season
February 8, 2026 – Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California
There’s mixed expectations for Wilson who has struggled to return to his former Seahawks form in recent years and managed a mixed campaign last season.
The 10-time Pro Bowler posted a 6-5 record as a starter with 225.6 yards passing per game, 16 touchdowns and five interceptions in 11 games for the Steelers after overcoming a calf injury.
However he could still earn up to $21million with incentive bonuses during his one-year contract with the Giants, according to reports.
While he may not even have a guaranteed starter position either.
That’s because NFL insiders have indicated that the Giants are set to have a private workout with top-rated draft prospect Shedeur Sanders.
Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Sanders, 23, remains most likely to go to the New Orleans Saints at the ninth overall pick.
But could go earlier if the Giants decide they want to swoop in.
