Bird lands on Peter Doocy's head live on 'Fox and Friends' ...Middle East

News by : (The Hill) -

A bird landed on Fox News reporter Peter Doocy's head during a live hit from the White House on Friday morning.

Doocy was wrapping up a live report from President Trump's White House for the network's morning talk show "Fox and Friends" when the feathery creature lowered itself into the top of frame and perched itself on Doocy's well-groomed blonde hair.

"A bird just landed on my head!" Doocy screamed as he cowered out of the picture, his eyes darting around him in all directions.

"Fox and Friends" hosts Ainsley Earnhardt, Lawrence Jones and Brian Kilmeade laughed as a startled Doocy attempted to gather himself and stood upright.

"I did not like that at all," Doocy laughed as he continued to look around for the bird, which had quickly fled after its brief and uninvited appearance on national television.

"The hair on the back of your head is standing up," Kilmeade ribbed Doocy. "What's going on?"

"That's probably so ... dirty," Doocy smiled.

Doocy is a leading correspondent for Fox in Washington, D.C., and is the son of "Fox and Friends" host Steve Doocy.

He made a name for himself in the television news business during President Biden's administration with direct and persistent questioning of top White House officials and the former president.
