After posting a fighting total of 163 runs, Royal Challengers Bengaluru were off to a flying start with the ball. First, Yash Dayal sent Faf du Plessis packing, and after that, Bhuvneshwar Kumar came up with the wicket of Jake Fraser-McGurk, but credit for that wicket equally goes to Jitesh Sharma, who took a brilliant catch behind the stumps.

Jitesh Sharma, who moved to his left had to put in the dive. He fumbled on the first attempt but managed to take it on the second attempt. However, what was impressive was that he got his fingertips to it, and the ball almost popped out, but he showed good reflexes to hold on.
