DEPARTMENT store fans looking to grab a bargain at their local Nordstrom outlet will have to watch out for a sudden opening hours change.
The temporary 24-hour shutdown will fall in line with an upcoming spring holiday.

All of Nordstrom’s and Nordstrom Rack’s stores will be closed for the holiday, per USA Today.
Nordstrom and JCPenney are among the retailers that will be closed on Easter Sunday.
The U.S. Sun previously reported that Macy’s is also on the list of department store chains that will close stores for the holiday.
Department store lovers will not be able to turn to Belk either.
That’s because the chain’s stores will also be closed for the holiday.
A host of major retailers will be closed on Easter.
TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, and Marshalls chiefs have confirmed stores will be closed on Easter Sunday.
And, bosses at the hardware chain, Lowe’s, have confirmed all stores will be shut.
This will allow its rival Home Depot to scoop up the business as its respective locations will be open.
The U.S. Sun has reported Costco warehouses will be silent on Easter Sunday.
There will be two temporary closures within weeks.
Retailers Open and Closed for Easter
Shoppers can generally expect the following retailers to be open and closed on Easter Sunday, which falls on April 20, 2025, this year:

But, Americans needn’t panic as Walmart stores will remain open as normal.
Kroger and Trader Joe’s outlets will also be a port of call.
And, shoppers in need of last-minute items will still be able to turn to their local CVS, Dollar Tree, and Dollar General stores.
