The Bahrain Grand Prix – and the first night race of the 2025 Formula 1 season – arrives with the Drivers’ Championship in the balance.
McLaren have streaked ahead in the Constructors’ Championships on the back of race wins for Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri but a victory for Red Bull’s Max Verstappen in Japan means he is just one point back from Norris at the top of the individual standings.
Though Verstappen will hope to follow that up in Bahrain, where he was dominant last year, the McLaren duo may also fancy their chances of responding given how impressive they were at this track in pre-season testing.
