Mike, the homeowner, told Nieto he was out to dinner, and another person inside the house called to report a car had gone through the garage. The family member inside the home is OK, Mike told Nieto.
"From the backyard, there's just lots of debris, and a car in the backyard. Car went all the way through the brick wall and all the way through," Mike said. "We're real happy that nobody got hurt, and hopefully the guy involved isn't injured. We don't want anybody ever to get hurt."
North Metro Fire Rescue also responded to the scene and told FOX31 that people should not stay at the home until the building can be secured.
