THE March Madness finale tipped off on Monday night and the tone was set by an amazing National Anthem performance.
Retired Air Force master sergeant Robert Carter delivered an incredible rendition of the National Anthem that blew fans away.

He is no stranger to delivering amazing performances of the National anthem.
Carter has sang the Star Spangled Banner in front of several NFL and college football crowds in the past.
His rendition is a welcome change to what has been a growing trend of artists flopping on the song before games.
Ingrid Andress infamously botched the National Anthem before the Home Run Derby last MLB season.
Carter’s National Anthem was so good that college basketball fans flocked to social media to share their compliments.
“That had to be the best national anthem performance I’ve seen. That guy meant that,” one fan said.
“Perfect National Anthem!” another fan said.
“Well done, Master Sergeant. Best rendition I’ve heard in a while. Thank you!” a third fan said.
“I think this is one of the best National Anthem renditions I’ve ever heard,” a fourth fan said.
“Chills. Incredible job,” a fifth fan said.
Florida and Houston went on to battle it out in the national championship game following the rendition of the anthem.
Both teams trailed their opponents by at least nine points in their Final Four games but came back to make the national championship.
Florida defeated Auburn in a SEC matchup to get through to the final round.
Houston took down Duke in a major upset thanks to some late heroics.

Houston had a lead as large as 12 points, but Florida went on to complete the comeback and win the game.
It is Florida’s third national championship in school history.
Houston is now 0-for-3 in national championship game appearances.
Florida’s Walter Clayton Jr. was named Most Outstanding Player of March Madness this year.
