‘You created this’ – Shannon Sharpe claims Dolphins weary of Tyreek Hill’s antics after latest trade hint ...Middle East

Tyreek Hill has once again indicated that his days with the Miami Dolphins could be numbered.

Regarded as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL thanks to his explosive speed, the five-time First Team All-Pro has made clear his desire to challenge for another Super Bowls ring.

Hill claimed his time with the Dolphins was up in January, but has since backtrackedGetty

But he hasn’t been able to do that since arriving in south Florida three years ago.

Hill and the Dolphins crashed out of the playoffs in the Wild Card round in 2022 and 2023, and completely missed the postseason with an 8-9 finish last year.

In fact, one of Hill’s most explosive moments of 2024 came after Miami’s season ended, when he indicated to reporters following a Week 18 loss that he was ready to move on.

“This is my first time I haven’t been in the playoffs,” he said back in January, after his least-productive season since 2019.

“I just gotta do what’s best for me and my family. If that’s here or wherever the case may be, I’m finna open that door for myself. I’m opening the door. I’m out, bro.

“It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, bro, I got to do what’s best for my career. I’m too much of a competitor to be just out there.”

Three months have passed since those comments – which Hill has since backtracked on – and he remains with the Dolphins, even if he does have relationships to mend.

But he has once again caused a stir online this week by dropping a new hint about his future.

On Monday, ‘Cheetah’ took to X and simply posted his signature peace sign emoji.

Fans were quick to comment, with many suggesting he was aware of reports that are linking him with a return to the Kansas City Chiefs.

And while his social media antics led to many urging him to leave the Dolphins and ‘get his ring,’ one former NFL star was not impressed.

Shannon Sharpe and Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson addressed Hill’s situation on the latest episode of Nightcap, and the legendary tight end questioned why the WR gave up playing with Patrick Mahomes if he wants to win.

“(The Dolphins) are getting tired of that,” Sharpe said of Hill’s social media antics.

“I don’t like when people become a victim in their own story. You created this, you wanted out of Kansas City.”

Johnson then noted that Hill left the Chiefs because he wanted to ‘get paid’ – but Sharpe argued that he would have been better off staying with Mahomes instead of linking up with an ‘injury-prone’ Tua Tagovailoa in Miami.

He continued: “They were going to pay him, but Tyreek had years left on his contract.

Hill’s decision to join Tagovailoa in Miami has been questionedGetty Sharpe believes the Dolphins are tired of Hill’s antics, and could move him onYouTube: Nightcap

“You go to a guy (Tua) that was injury-prone in college. He limped into the league. What did you think was going to happen?

“I just don’t get these guys.”

Johnson went on to speculate that the upcoming NFL Draft could ‘shake things up’ and see Hill move on, with the Los Angeles Chargers also said to be interested in signing him.

“No matter how great you are, they will move your a**, because they’re not going to let you become bigger than the team,” Sharpe added.

“Kansas City traded Tyreek and went to three-straight Super Bowls. What does that tell you? Wide receivers ain’t doing nothing without (a quarterback). No matter who he is.”

Hill has racked up an impressive 4,468 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns since arriving in Miami in 2022.

As well as putting up impressive numbers on the football field, he has also been teasing a race with Olympic champion Noah Lyles to prove his speed.

Track legend Michael Johnson, though, has delivered an emphatic verdict on that, offering a Mike Tyson analogy.

If the Dolphins really are growing tired of Hill’s social media antics as reports suggest, they will be forced to move on one of the league’s top stars.

But as Sharpe says, no one is bigger than the team, and trading Hill might be the best option for both parties.
