A sanitation worker got the first COVID-19 vaccination in Odisha as the mass vaccination drive was held across India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the COVID19 vaccination drive virtually in all the centres of India. In Odisha, the vaccination drive was carried out in 161 centres across 30 districts. Later in the day, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik interacted with three people who were vaccinated. In the first phase, doctors, nurses and other frontline workers were vaccinated.
