QUEEN Camilla is reportedly desperate for King Charles to make changes to his life following his recent cancer scare.
The monarch, 76, experienced temporary side effects following treatment at the London Clinic last week, which required a short period of hospital observation.

However, he was back in action this week as he presided over an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle on Tuesday.
Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, royal author Phil Dampier claimed: “Camilla is forever telling him to slow down.
“She’d like him to pace himself. She’d like him to take it easy.
“But he’s just got this work ethic.
“He is known for working late into the night and literally falling asleep at his desk.
“I think probably those days have gone and he needs to curtail that sort of ridiculous workload. But it’s just in his nature.
“It’s just in his blood. He likes being busy. He likes meeting people. He likes getting out and about. He likes doing the job, basically.
“He’s not going to disappear. But he really, for his own good, ought to slow down a bit and pace himself.”
Charles was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer in February 2024.
He returned to public-facing duties last April despite still undergoing weekly treatment.
Final preparations are being made for the state visit to the Republic of Italy.
The separate state visit to the Holy See, the government of the Roman Catholic Church located in the Vatican, has been postponed as the Pope is recovering from a bout of pneumonia.
News commentator Samara Gill added on the show: “I do think that the King has been really needed right now.

“I know that the King is almost being used as a bargaining chip for the UK to get back in with Donald Trump after all of that.
“So I think that the King is very needed right now.
“And he’s so stoic. I almost forgot that he was battling cancer the past year because he’s been out there shaking hands and doing what he does best.
“I think that William is probably going to need to start getting ready, let’s just say, for the incoming position.
“I know that he’s been doing that his entire life.”

The Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson pointed out: “I’ve looked at the itinerary. He’s doing a speech at the Senate.
“He’s meeting the President or the Prime Minister. He’s got a state banquet. His whole day is just packed full of work.
“Poor old Camilla. She just wants to celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary.”
Inside Charles and Camilla's relationship
CHARLES and Camilla’s relationship began back in 1971 when the pair were introduced by a mutual friend.
Aged 23, they quickly became close friends talking for hours on the phone and spending as much time together as possible.
However, the relationship never progressed amid warnings from Charles’ great-uncle Lord Mountbatten that Camilla was not “sufficiently aristocratic” to marry into the Royal Family.
The then-Prince of Wales tied the knot with Diana in 1981 upon his family’s recommendation – but the People’s Princess called the relationship “tricky” as she knew how much Charles loved Camilla.
She claimed that before her wedding, she found out Charles had a bracelet made with the initials “G” and “F” for Gladys and Fred – pet names Camilla and Charles had for each other.
She also found photos of Camilla in Charles’ diary on their honeymoon, as well as cufflinks with the initials “C” and “C” intertwined.
Five years on from their spectacular wedding, Charles and Diana’s marriage was lost – with Camilla firmly back in the picture.
Charles and Diana divorced in 1996, before her death in 1997.
King Charles II wed Camilla Parker-Bowles on April 9 2005, nearly eight years after his ex-wife and mother to his sons, Princess Diana, tragically died.
