DENVER (KDVR) — Denver kicks off the weekend on a cooler note as highs will only reach the middle to upper 40s.
Denver weather will see light flurries in the metro through the mid-morning hours but will see no accumulations with it.

After a cloudy start to the day, skies will clear as the afternoon approaches. Temperatures will reach the middle 40s, which will help melt any snow. Winds will be lighter out of the north at 5-10 miles per hour.
Weather tonight: Mostly clear
Clear skies dominate the metro area overnight as lows sink into the middle to lower 20s. Winds will be out of the northeast anywhere from 5-10 mph.
Looking ahead: Warmer and sunnier next week
After a brief return of winter weather, spring conditions grace Denver starting Sunday when it warms back to around 60 degrees. Temperatures on Monday will jump into the middle 60s.
The warming trend will continue through next week as 70s return. The extended period looks dry, with breezier conditions on Tuesday and Wednesday. It may even come close to 80 degrees by the end of the work week.
