Jeans are a clothing item that it feels like we’re always buying. Whether it’s because our old ones just don’t fit right anymore or they get a little too distressed, it feels like every year or so we need at least one new pair of jeans. And that can get pricey, of course. But with Aldi’s upcoming Aldi Finds drop, they have a pair of cute straight-leg denim jeans that are really affordable. Plus, they look a lot like designer styles from La Ligne, Reformation and Levi’s that are up to 15 times the price. From April 9 to April 15, Aldi will be selling Serra Circulose Denim Jeans for $12.99, while supplies last. They’re pretty basic jeans: they come in two washes and seem to be some kind of mid-rise jeans. While both colors have a slightly different fit (we’ll get into that later), neither are super tight or “skinny” styles. They both have a zipper and button closure along with front and back pockets.Related: 23 Must-Buy Aldi Snacks, According to a Superfan
Serra Circulose Denim Jeans, $12.99 at Aldi
As their name suggests, both washes of these jeans are made with a circulose material (each just with a slightly different fabric make-up). According to The Circular Laboratory, circulose is a “sustainable figer” that’s made of “viscose fiber made with 50% cotton waste.” It doesn’t seem like a ton of other brands are currently using circulose, so it’ll be interesting to see how these hold up. The light blue wash of these Serra Circulose Denim Jeans has a “flared leg with slit” according to Aldi’s site. However, they’re a slight flare, almost like a looser bootcut style. They have a pretty straight-leg design and the little slit looks like it’s on the inside of the ankle. The fabric of this color is made out of 86% cotton, 12% viscose and 2% elastane.
As for the dark blue wash of these Aldi jeans, they are straight-leg style jeans. They seem to stop right at the ankle and could even be a high-rise style. They have a little worn-out look on the front of the thighs and around the waist. These are made with 84% cotton, 14% spandex and 2% elastane.Related: Aldi Is Selling a Stylish $35 Patio Chair Similar to a World Market Style Almost 4x the Price
Mol High-Rise Straight Jean, $195 at La Ligne
As we mentioned before, these Aldi jeans are very similar to others out there, like La Ligne’s Mol High-Rise Straight Jean, which costs $195. These are a true straight-leg jean with an almost 90s look to them. They’re made from 100% organic cotton, and have a lightweight denim fabric with no stretch.
Cynthia High Rise Straight Long Jeans, $168 at Reformation
Another pair of jeans that are similar in design are Reformation’s Cynthia High Rise Straight Long Jeans, which are currently $168. These jeans come in four washes and are a more modern straight-leg jean style. They are fitted around the waist down through the waist, hip and thigh, and a straight leg. These are also non-stretch denim, but instead, these are made from 57% “regeneratively grown cotton” and 43% TENCEL Lyocell.
