DENVER (KDVR) — We are tracking a southern storm that will keep most of Colorado and Denver weather under clouds and chilly temperatures, along with rain and snow showers through early Saturday.

Additional light snow is forecast for the Colorado mountains on Friday, with a rain/snow mix at lower elevations, especially in the afternoon and evening.
Any impacts on roads will be after sunset and mainly in the foothills west of the city and some areas south of downtown.

The snow will end around 3-6 a.m. on Saturday, with some slushy and slick conditions mainly to the south and west of downtown Denver. The clouds should clear by midday and roads will dry out quickly.
