Halle Berry Directly Addresses Rumors of 'Avengers' Return ...0

In an exciting turn of events for longtime superhero fans, Marvel has provided a lengthy list of announcements for Doomsday's ballooning cast list. Among the stars set to appear are several actors from Fox's X-Men series, including Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Kelsey Grammer (Beast), and James Marsden (Cyclops).

Berry, who previously played Storm from X-Men's original installment in 2000, last appeared in the role for 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past. A younger iteration of the character also appears in X-Men Apocalypse, Deadpool 2, and X-Men: Dark Phoenix, albeit played by Alexandra Shipp.

As of yet, the only X-Men alumni slated for Doomsday include Stewart, Grammer, McKellen, Marsden, Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler), and Rebecca Romijn (Mystique). Channing Tatum, Other notable casting announcement includes Channing Tatum, who will reprise his role as Gambit from Deadpool & Wolverine. Other high-profile X-Men cast members like Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) have yet to be confirmed for the film.
