Unless, of course, you have a chance to play for Alabama.
So, when Horton hit the transfer portal this past winter and Alabama came calling, Horton couldn’t turn the opportunity down.
“It’s Alabama,” Horton said during an interview on the Crimson Tide Sports Network. “It’s the standard of college football. All the history Alabama has, I’ve always wanted to be a part of something like this. Ever since I got here, it’s a dream come true. From the training to the nutrition, equipment, everything. Everybody is respectful with it … Everything is exactly what I thought it would be.”

— Crimson Tide Sports Network (@UA_CTSN) April 3, 2025Horton caught 56 passes for 616 yards and 5 touchdowns last season. The 6-foot-4 wideout made just 6 starts in 3 seasons with the Hurricanes, but at Alabama, he figures to play a much larger role alongside Ryan Williams and Germie Bernard.
Fans will get a chance to see Horton in action with his new teammates for the first time on April 12 when the Crimson Tide hold their annual A-Day spring game.
