"It's [for] my son," Farley, 39, exclusively told Parade of her hand tattoo at the MobLand premiere on Monday, March 31. "That was the week he was diagnosed with autism, and I was also going through a divorce [from ex-husband Roger Matthews], so I told myself I only need one man on my left hand for the rest of my life."
She continued: "This is obviously before I met Zack [Carpinello], and I got this tattoo to remember the good times but also the times that made me the mom that I am today."
"Grey was recently diagnosed with autism. He’s also been in early intervention for over 6 months now and doing amazing," she wrote via Instagram at the time. "Grey is and will always be my little prince."
"He helped out, and we had sensory — not rooms that I could build — but sensory areas because it is, and it was, such a hard-hitting film that you can't yell cut like Adam Sandler and laugh," she explained. "So we would have these quiet spaces for the actors and actresses to go to decompress [and] take a minute, and in case any of our crew felt overwhelmed, they would go there as well."
