A man drove himself to a hospital after he was wounded in a shooting near Van Nuys Airport.
The shooting occurred about 5:25 p.m. Sunday on the 6800 block of Woodley Avenue at Hartland Street, Officer D. Orris of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center told City News Service.
The location is just east of Van Nuys Airport.
The 31-year-old man was outside in the neighborhood of commercial buildings and apartments where he was approached by four males believed about 16 to 18 years old, Orris said.

The suspects left the scene, and the victim took himself to a hospital for treatment, Orris said.
The shooting was believed to be gang-related.
