Ben Affleck Offers Up Rare Comment About 'Embarrassing' Split From Jennifer Lopez ...Saudi Arabia

The Gone Girl actor is characteristically private when it comes to his love life, but he recently broke his silence about his split from Lopez, who filed for divorce in August 2024, just two years after the couple's 2022 nuptials.  

In a new interview with GQ published on Tuesday, March 25, Affleck opened up about what caused the pair's divorce, revealing that there was "no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue" when it comes to the breakdown of their relationship. 

Affleck also revealed that he has no interest in hashing out all the specific details regarding the unraveling of his and Lopez's marriage. 

But in terms of where he stands today with Lopez, 55, the Argo actor said he has "nothing but respect" for his ex.
