Stanford has been swimming quite well, outperforming the psych sheet by double digits each day. The Cardinal led the field on Friday with a 30-point improvement on their seedings, making for a cumulative 65-point gain over three days. Texas, meanwhile, has underperformed to the tune of -12 on Friday and a combined -35 for the first three days. What has kept the Longhorns in the race for silver are their divers, who have added 70 points -unanswered by Stanford- in the first two diving events.
Louisville, Southern Illinois, and Indiana all saw double-digit increases over the psych sheet on Friday. Alabama, Miami (FL), Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee were down by double digits.
Indiana and Tennessee are in a close race for fourth place in the team standings, while Florida is battling Louisville for sixth.
