Chiefs wideout Marquise ‘Hollywood‘ Brown resigned with the Chiefs on a one-year deal worth up to $11 million.

While speaking to reporters, the 27-year-old said that he and the Chiefs have “unfinished business” after they failed to achieve a first-ever three-peat.

Brown’s deal comes after he had an injury-ridden first season with Andy Reid‘s squad in Kansas City.

“I do feel like we could do something that’s never been done before,” he added.

Brown’s contract is reportedly the same one he penned in 2024.

He is guaranteed $6.5 million in the deal and can earn an additional $4.5 million in incentives.

“I knew all along I wanted to be back… they voiced their opinions of wanting me back. We had some unfinished business,” Brown said.

“‘It felt like, for the first time in my career, I was getting where I wanted to be every day coming to work, getting better and getting better… so I knew that was the place and environment I wanted to stay in,” he added.

Brown also said that Mahomes and Chiefs teammates helped persuade him back to the red and gold.

“That’s my guy,” he said about Mahomes.

“We talked about me being here, so definitely, we had to make (a new contract) happen. And I’m glad we did.’

“Everyone was just always (saying): “We’re gonna be back next year. We’re gonna do it right next year…”

“Even before I got cleared to come back, I could feel people wanted me around. And so that was good for me while I was rehabbing, kept me always in good spirits.”

In two regular-season games, Brown recorded nine receptions for 91 yards and no touchdowns.

During the playoffs, the former Baltimore Ravens first-round pick posted five receptions for 50 yards and no touchdowns in three games.

Browns will be part of a Chiefs wide receiver core that includes Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice, who missed most of last season with a knee injury.

“Those are my guys. The sky’s the limit,” Brown said.

“We’re trying to push each other to be the best, because ultimately, I do feel like we could do something that’s never been done before.”

Brown will hope to come close to the numbers he produced in his best season which occurred in 2021.

He posted 91 receptions for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns.
