The ticket holder matched four numbers and the Powerball.
In a bid to jog players’ memories, Kentucky lotto bosses revealed the player bought the slip at a Five Star gas station in Bowling Green, per the Lexington Herald Leader.
But, they gave the person holding onto the ticket three instructions.
Officials urged them to sign the back of the winning slip and store it in a safe place.
They also urged the winner to come forward within 180 days.
If they fail to meet the six-month deadline, then the prize will disappear for good.
Kentucky is just one of a score of states that has a six-month claim window.
Others include Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Ohio and Texas.
As the prize is worth $50,000, it must be claimed in person.
They have to call the Kentucky lottery headquarters to book an appointment.
Powerball bosses revealed 15 players matched four numbers and the Power Ball.
But, six gamblers took advantage of the Power Play multiplier and are set to walk away with $100,000.
Two players will take home a $2 million prize.
But, no player hit the jackpot, which meant it rolled over to Wednesday night’s draw.
Again, no gambler won the jackpot, which means it continues to roll over.
