2025 NCAA DIII Swimming and Diving Championships
March 19-22, 2025 Location: Greensboro Aquatic Center, Greensboro, NC Times: Prelims 10:00 AM / Finals 6:00 PM (ET) Defending Champs: Kenyon women (1x) & Emory men (3x) Psych Sheet Live Streaming on NCAA.com Live Results “NCAA DIII Championships” on Meet MobileDuring the first finals session of the 2025 NCAA Division III Championships, New York University junior Kaley McIntyre broke the Division III NCAA record en route to winning the 50-yard freestyle. McIntyre touched the wall in a time of 22.15, which marks her second record in this event today. Just hours ago, she notched a time of 22.30 to lower her previous record of 22.46, which she clocked to win the national title last year.
McIntyre is no stranger to winning NCAA titles. She enters this year’s championship meet as the two-time defending champion in the 50 and 200 free, and is also the defending champ in the 100 free. Last year, she not only broke the 50 free record to win the national title, but broke the 100 record as well. Notably, she did not swim the 100 free during her freshman campaign, instead opting for the 200 back, where she placed 9th.
Today’s records are not even McIntyre’s first of this season. At the University Athletic Association Championships last month, she recorded a time of 48.58 in the 100 free to break her own record in that event, too.
At this meet a year ago, McIntyre was awarded CSCAA Swimmer of the Year honors in Division III after sweeping the aforementioned freestyle events.
McIntyre will enter the 100 and 200 free events as the heavy favorite later in the meet, where she ranks 1st in the 100 free by 0.94 of a second and 1st in the 200 by 2.58 seconds. The 200 record could be a potential target for McIntyre, with the current mark standing at 1:44.82, set by Amherst’s Kendra Stern in 2011.
