MIKE Francesa was caught on a hot mic after not realizing he was live on air.
During a recent live episode of his podcast, Francesa went off on his staff during what he thought was a break.

He argued with his staff for minutes before telling them to restart the recording.
What he didn’t realize was that he was live the whole time.
It was over two minutes before he realized he was live on the air, which only further angered him.
“We’re live? This was all on the air, me just yelling at you guys?” he said.
“What? You gotta be kidding me. You guys have got to be kidding me.
“All right, I apologize for that outburst, okay, folks? I didn’t realize we were live, I thought we were taping this, okay?
“That’s my mistake, I didn’t realize that.
“Now … so this is going to go viral now because I yelled at you guys, you realize that?”
Francesa surprisingly didn’t lose his head too much during the episode, but fans still got a good laugh about it on social media.
The video got passed around and has been watched over 600,000 times on X.
“That’s the best 3 min in the history of bet rivals,” one fan said.
“Honestly I thought he was really respectful and nice about it…” another fan said.
“This is beautiful. It’s exactly who I imagined Mike to be behind the scenes,” a third fan said.
“Peak boomer behavior,” a fourth fan said.
