Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on Thursday, inaugurated projects worth Rs 2,045cr in Kalahandi district. During his one-day visit, the Chief Minister inaugurated 57 projects. The projects include mega irrigation systems, food parks, new power feed lines, bus stands roads and bridges. Praising the development of Kalahandi in agriculture, he said that Kalahandi has become rice bowl now. While Kalahandi is the second largest rice producer Odisha, it also supplies rice to the country’.
