Fire alarm sounds during Warriors-Pistons game at Chase Center ...Middle East

(KRON) -- A fire alarm went off at Chase Center Saturday night as the Golden State Warriors hosted the Detroit Pistons.

The alarm sounded after the first quarter before game attendees were notified it was a false alarm.

Fan video posted on X showed the original message on the video billboard that stated in all caps, "ATTENTION: THERE HAS BEEN A FIRE ALARM REPORTED IN THE BUILDING. PROCEED TO THE NEAREST EXIT AND LEAVE THE BUILDING. DO NOT USE ELEVATORS."

The match-up with the Pistons is the Warriors first game back in the Bay after a five-game road trip.

KRON4 reached out the Golden State Warriors for comment regarding the incident, but did not hear back in time for this report.

The Warriors will take on the Portland Trailblazers Monday night at Chase Center.
