TIGER WOODS’ teenage daughter might have turned her back on golf – but winning is clearly in her DNA.
The fifteen-time Major winner, 49, proudly watched on as Sam, 17, won a state soccer title.

The team faced Lake Christian for the FHSAA Class 2A girls crown over the weekend.
Tiger was in the stands as Sam helped her team to a 2-1 victory.
Woods was seen punching the air and roaring his daughter on as the Buccaneers saw out the match.
“The defense really led the team all year,” proud Benjamin head coach Hillary Carney said, per the Mail.
“It was a matter of keeping the door shut and not letting them score and knowing we would get one, maybe two.
“So it was really the stalwart defense leading the way with Emily [Simon] being in goal and Sam being that senior in the back just settling everything.”
Tiger has previously opened up on Sam’s “negative connotations” towards golf.
The teenager has never show any indication she would like to follow her dad out onto the links.
“She has, I think, a negative connotation to the game because at that time when she was growing up, golf took daddy away from her,” Woods told The Today Show.
“I had to pack, and I had to leave and I was gone for weeks and there was a negative connotation to it.
“So we developed our own relationship, our own rapport that’s outside of golf that we do things that don’t involve golf.
“Meanwhile, my son and I, we do everything golf-related. It’s very different.”
Tiger’s won Charlie, 16, is tipped as a star of the future.
In 2020, he won a nine-hole kids tournament, blowing the opposition away to win by five strokes.
Back in December, Charlie made headline news on the par-3 fourth hole at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando, where he hit a hole-in-one.
Speaking to Golf.com in 2018, Woods expressed his delight in their enthusiasm for soccer.
“They’re keen into it [over golf]” he said.
“If they want to play golf, that’s great. If they don’t, that’s fine, too.
“As long as they have a good time playing sports.“
