Although Don't Worry Darling was mired in bad press, Wilde's future as a filmmaker remains bright. Deadline reported in 2023 that she'll direct a Christmas comedy called Naughty from Margot Robbie's production company (the movie is billed as "Bridesmaids in the North Pole"); she's also signed on to helm Avengelyne, an adaptation of Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld’s comic book creation about an angel who fights the forces of evil.
