Chapman confirmed the meeting to Vogue this year, saying, “So the first evening we had a joint birthday party, blowing out candles together, and weirdly we even had almost matching outfits, we were wearing the same print.” (Coincidentally, the two share the same birthdate — April 14, three years apart — which Chapman marked in a sweet tribute last year: “Happy birthday my darling twin…so happy to share this day with my best friend #twins #birthday #loveyou,” she said.)

The two later made their red carpet debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2021, when the duo attended the premiere of Brody’s action crime thriller Clean. They were photographed arm-in-arm, as Brody donned a dapper maroon suit while Chapman sported an embroidered and gold-accented floral top and sheer black skirt.
During his Globe win, he shouted out Chapman in an emotional speech, saying: "To my beautiful and amazing partner Georgina, your generosity of spirit, your own resilience, your immense creativity are a daily reminder of how to be. I would not be standing here before you if it wasn't for you. There was a time not too long ago that I felt that this may never be a moment afforded to me again, so thank you." He repeated the dedication during his subsequent wins at the Critics Choice ceremony and the BAFTAs, calling Chapman “an angel.”

In Brody’s sprawling profile with Vogue, Chapman said of the Peaky Blinders actor: “He was a kid from Queens who really embraced the culture of the streets. Yet he also carries a very European elegance, which gives this wonderful complexity.” She added of his approach to his craft: “He’s incredibly raw emotionally, but he’s not pretentious. He doesn’t bring his ego into play, and I think this is what allows him to inhabit a role in such a pure way.”
Chapman also described their bucolic home life in upstate New York, at the Stone Barn Castle, which has an art studio for the Succession actor and is home to her two children, ailing mother and what Brody calls a “whole menagerie of animals,” including four cats, two donkeys, three horses and a small white dog named Ziggy.
