During the match between Afghanistan and England, security was breached when a person barged into the ground to meet the Afghan players. A similar incident happened during the match between New Zealand and Bangladesh when a fan stepped inside the playing area to meet Rachin Ravindra.

"Even in this tournament we say that people were able to breach security and run onto the ground while the match was going on. I think it happened during the Afghanistan game. When you see such incidents, it is almost impossible for any government to give the Indian team the permission to travel to Pakistan," said Gavaskar.
Sunil Gavaskar on India-Pakistan cricket
Sunil Gavaskar was earlier asked about his views on the resumption of India-Pakistan cricket in the future. He stood clear in his stance that there must be peace at the borders to start bilateral cricket between these two countries again.
"I'm pretty certain there will be some back-channel connections going on. But you want to see what's happening both on the ground and off the ground because there are incursions we hear about. That's the reason why the Indian government is saying, 'Look, maybe until all that stops, we should not even look at having or talking about anything'," he further added.
Why is India playing in Dubai?
While all the teams in the ongoing Champions Trophy are playing in Pakistan, India are playing in Dubai. The Indian government denied the BCCI to send their team to Pakistan which prompted the ICC to hold the tournament in a hybrid model.
The decision was protested by the PCB earlier but they had no other option to accept it eventually. Even in the ICC events happening in India in the future, Pakistan will play their matches in a neutral venue and won't be needed to travel to India.
