MICHELLE Trachtenberg fought a secret health battle in the time before her unexpected death at 39, according to inside sources.
The Gossip Girl actress reportedly underwent a liver transplant before she was found dead in her New York City apartment on Wednesday.

Cops said the star died of natural causes.
No foul play was suspected in her death.
Trachtenberg’s mom found her dead in her apartment near Columbus Circle after 8 am on Wednesday, cops said.
The actress put on a brave face through her reported health struggles, even posting a picture on Instagram just last week.
Fans shared concern for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress in the years before her death – and Trachtenberg fired back at critics in a now-eerie message on social media.
