The exciting new series, Gold & Greed: The Hunt for Fenn's Treasure, will hit the streaming service on Thursday, March 27, Parade can exclusively reveal.
Directed by Jared McGilliard and produced by Vox Media and Nomadica Films, Gold & Greed follows the decade-long pursuit for 80-year-old Forrest Fenn's treasure and the people who gave up everything — including their jobs, families and entire lives — to find it.
The hunt dates back to 2010, when Fenn, an art dealer and author, hid a "fantastical treasure" in the mountains north of Santa Fe, New Mexico. The twist, however, and the key to finding it lie within a cryptic 24-line poem that has the treasure hunter community obsessing over the meaning of truth — and the pursuit of gold, of course.
