Orange County boys basketball has five teams in the CIF Southern Section championship games this week.

Two of them will be playing each other, and for the third time this season.

Pacifica Christian (23-7) and Fairmont Prep (21-9) meet again in the Division 2AA final on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Toyota Arena in Ontario. They played each other twice this season in San Joaquin League games: Fairmont Prep won the game at Pacifica Christian 60-56 on Jan. 18; Pacifica Christian won the game at Fairmont Prep 67-55 on Jan. 28.

Fairmont Prep and Pacifica Christian, both private schools, tied for the league championship with their 5-1 league records.

Pacifica Christian is led by EJ Spillman, a muscular 6-4 senior guard who is averaging team highs of 14 points and five assists a game. Senior forward Logan Stewart averages 12 points and seven rebounds for the Tritons.

Fairmont Prep 6-10 junior forward David Abisogun scored 16 points with six rebounds and three blocked shots when the Huskies beat Riverside 53-45 in the 2AA semifinals. Bith Jack, a 6-10 junior, is a formidable inside player for Fairmont Prep.

Los Alamitos (24-8) plays Mira Costa (29-3) in the Division 1 championship game Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at Toyota Center. It’s been a different player on just about every night leading Los Alamitos, and sometimes it’s a group of players. Five Griffins scored in double figures when they crushed Crean Lutheran 82-57 in the Division 1 semifinals. Los Alamitos seniors Samori Guyness, Liam Gray, Trent Minter and Wes Trevino have all surpassed 1,000 career points for the Griffins.

Sage Hill (18-9), a private school in Irvine, plays Knight (25-5) of Palmdale in the 3AA final Saturday at 8 p.m. at Edison High. Sage Hill’s James Karhalios scored 16 points including what would be the winning basket in overtime when the Lightning beat Tustin in the quarterfinals. Jackson Cryst scored 12 points with 12 rebounds in a 42-39 win over West Torrance in the second round.

Santiago (21-11) plays Ramona (26-6) in the 4AA final on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Toyota Arena. Santiago, which finished third in the Coast League and beat Coast League champion Los Amigos in the 4AA first round, has been led in the playoffs by senior guard Jorden De La Mora who scored 22 points in the Cavaliers’ win over Flintridge Prep in the second round and scored 25 points, including 13 points in the fourth quarter, in their 50-43 win over Pacifica in the semifinals.
