JOEY BOSA has been tipped to become a free agent for the first time in his career.
Reports suggest that the five-times Pro Bowl linebacker is likely to be cut by the Los Angeles Chargers before next month.

But, as per ESPN’s Dan Graziano, Bosa’s time in LA could be numbered.
Last season, Bosa was rumoured for the chop – but was given a stay of execution and a new deal.
Graziano did admit there is a chance the Chargers could bring Bosa back.
That claim is strengthened by suggestions that veteran Khalil Mack is also set to become a free agent.
However, should Bosa re-sign it would have to be at a much lower cost.
The Chargers have the flexibility to make a substantial offer – given their projected cap space is $63.4 million, fifth-most in the NFL, per Over the Cap.
Rashawn Slater is expected to sign an extension to his deal, before he enters the final season of his rookie contract in 2025.
The appointment of Jim Harbaugh last year prompted talk that the head coach wanted to get rid of players on big contracts.
Although Bosa wasn’t at his best, he did manage to record a fairly injury-free season.
He played 14 matches and managed 13 quarterback hits, five tackles for loss and five sacks.
The Chargers would do right to keep their defence together for next season.
They recorded the fewest points per game in the NFL in this past campaign.
