Bangladesh National Cricket Team won the toss and opted to bat first but the decision turned out to be poor for them as they came under pressure right from the start. The Najmul Hossain Shanto-led side were left reeling at 35 for five inside powerplay.
Jaker Ali, in particular, has looked solid with the bat. The right-hander, although, got a chance early on his innings, but after that, he hardly put a foot wrong. The Bangladesh batter tackled the India spinners pretty well, and the way he soaked in pressure was impressive.
Jaker Ali glanced the ball for a double and brought up his second half-century. What caught the attention of many was his celebration after reaching the milestone. The Bangladesh National Cricket Team batter came up with the Pushpa celebration and invited huge cheers from fans.
